Getting Started

If you haven’t already, you may want to watch available demo videos at the Yansa Labs YouTube channel. Most examples shown in the videos are included with the app.

Installation

First, install Yansa Asset Tag Maker on your ServiceNow instance via the System Applications application in your left nav. Visit Yansa Asset Tag Maker in your left nav and peruse the available modules. Be sure to enable annotations in your instance by clicking the ‘…’ icon in the top-right of any form. Every Asset Tag Maker form includes documentation to help you along.

Roles

• x_yala_tagger.user: User role - grants access to read and update tag creation jobs, as well as to create & update label templates and barcode content

• x_yala_tagger.admin: Necessary to access administrator-level capabilities, such as updating label configs or merge maps
