# Creating Labels

Label capabilities allow you to print pages of adhesive labels with data from multiple records in ServiceNow. This is great for printing asset labels, address labels, and the like. Use [**Label Designer**](/asset-tag-maker/technical-docs/building-a-label-template/creating-labels/label-designer.md) to build the label visually and preview it with live ServiceNow data.

Labels require two components:

1. [**Label Templates**](/asset-tag-maker/technical-docs/building-a-label-template/creating-labels/label-templates.md): Record that defines the content and behavior of the label PDF
2. [**Label Configs**](/asset-tag-maker/technical-docs/building-a-label-template/creating-labels/label-configuration.md): Configuration that correlates to a specific model of label and includes details about sizing, rows, and spacing
