# Generating a PDF Document

After you have successfully created a [PDF Template](/pdf-generator/technical-docs/building-a-pdf-template.md), you can begin to generate PDF documents.

PDF documents are typically generated either manually (via human interaction) or automated (via flow action). The included methods for each are:
