Getting Started

If you haven’t already, you may want to watch available demo videos at the Yansa Labs YouTube channel. Most examples shown in the videos are included with the app.

Installation

First, install Yansa PDF Generator on your ServiceNow instance via the System Applications application in your left nav. Visit Yansa PDF Generator in your left nav and peruse the available modules. Be sure to enable annotations in your instance by clicking the ‘…’ icon in the top-right of any form. Every PDF Generator form includes documentation to help you along.

Roles

• x_yala_pdf.user: User role - grants access to read and generate templates based on the user criteria for those templates

• x_yala_pdf.admin: Necessary to create new templates and use the sample 'Generate PDF' UI Actions
