Getting Started

If you haven’t already, you may want to watch available demo videos at the Yansa Labs YouTube channel. Most examples shown in the videos are included with the app.

Installation

First, install Simple Data Separation on your ServiceNow instance via the System Applications application in your left nav. Visit Yansa Simple Separation in your left nav and peruse the available modules. Be sure to enable annotations in your instance by clicking the ‘…’ icon in the top-right of any form. Every Simple Data Separation form includes documentation to help you along. In particular, you will find useful information Separation Rule form.

Roles

• x_yala_simp_sep.admin: Necessary to create/update/delete Separation Rules

• admin: Necessary for one-time installation of globally scoped Component
