TrendSeeker Metrics store the historical calculated results of each TrendSeeker Rule run. For TrendSeeker Rules that use calculated Threshold Scripts, these metrics are used to understand historical behavior and understand when behavior is out of the ordinary.

TrendSeeker Metrics can be used for trend analysis via ServiceNow standard reports - like a lightweight Performance Analytics!
Only 1 metric is kept per day for a particular Rule/Aggregate combination, regardless of how often the TrendSeeker Rule runs. This is to ensure consistency across reporting and historical metric calculation.
