# Barcode Tester

A simple barcode testing page is included to allow testing of barcode generation - it can be found under **Barcode Tester** in the left nav. This is useful to confirm correct functionality of a particular value & a particular barcode format. If there is an issue generating the desired barcode, an error message will be displayed.

The barcode tester tests server-side generation of barcodes alone. If you wish to test client-side barcode generation and/or generation of complete barcode labels, we recommend using the built-in display on the **Barcode Generator** form.
